Rehab You Can Trust

Cardiac Rehab is a medically supervised program to help heart patients recover quickly and improve their overall physical, mental and social functioning. The goal is to stabilize, slow or even reverse the progression of cardiovascular disease, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease, another cardiac event or death.

The Nemaha County Hospital is proud to announce the certification of its cardiovascular rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Nemaha County Hospital was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.

AACVPR-certified programs are recognized as leaders in the field of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation because they offer the most advanced practices available.

Patients and family members can feel confident in knowing that our staff has the experience and skills necessary to deal with the variety of issues that a life-changing cardiac diagnosis can lead to.
