Our caring staff provides Personalized Patient Centered Care. Rounding at the bedside encourages patient and/or family participation in their plan of care. This includes the physician, physician assistant, nursing staff, pharmacist and Home Care.
Each patient will be assigned a Personal Representative to act as a patient advocate for the duration of their stay. It's Nemaha County Hospital's goal to make the patient's stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
All of our Nursing Staff are trained in Basic Life Support (BLS). All Registered Nurses are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). All Physician Assistants are trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Patient safety is a priority at Nemaha County Hospital. We use real-time documentation and electronic medication verification as one aspect of our safety initiatives.
