Our Staff

Eric Vrtiska

Eric graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center on 2009 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Eric began working at Nemaha County Hospital in June of 2009. Eric is trained in the specialties of Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping, and is also LSVT BIG certified. Eric has 3 brothers and was born and raised in Beatrice, NE. Eric enjoys the variety of patients he works with and being able to work in a small town environment. Eric enjoys: spending time with family, hunting, golfing, biking, watching football and hockey, and gardening.

Kim Hahn

Kim has been with Nemaha County Hospital since 1992. She graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Kim is certified in Graston Technique, LSVT BIG, and Women's Health Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, as well as being a Certified Speed and Agility Trainer. She enjoys the variety of patients she gets to work with and appreciates being able to spend time with them to help them reach their goals. Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, and volleyball.

Clay Smith

Clay graduated from Washburn University with an Associate of Science for Physical Therapy Assistant in 1986 and with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training in 1989. Clay has been at Nemaha County Hospital and surrounding areas since 1994. Clay especially enjoys working with shoulder, ankle and ACL injuries. His hobbies include gardening, traveling, and family time.

Paula Hays

Paula has been with the Nemaha County Hospital Therapy Department since 2000. Paula enjoys working with the public and staff at NCH and is a key factor in keeping things running smoothly. She enjoys baking, walking, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
